Rosita attends this symposium and gets to meet, greet and mingle with the presenters and attendees. Her aunt has a special history with the church. Rev. Dr. Pauli Murray participated in the Holy Eucharist there in the fall of 1977 shortly after being ordained as the first Black female Episcopal priest. Rosita will share information about Preserving Pauli Murray, LLC, Southern Maryland National Heritage Area and her book, Pauli Murray: The Life of a Pioneering Feminist & Civil Rights Activist. David Boyles, Rev. Mimi Chamberlain, Rev. Lesley Jones, Shanisse Venelle Santos, Father Christopher Slane, Rev. Derek Terry will participate in the program.
