During Rosita’s visit to SUNY Cortland, she will attend the TransAction 2025 Conference, “The Personal is Political and Professional: Navigating Trans and Gender Queer Identities in Higher Education” on March 7th. This conference will be centered around discussion about the needs and experiences of transgender and gender queer individuals in the college environment. The keynote speaker will be Jamie MaKinster, PhD, (she/her). Jamie is the Vice Provost for Assessment, Accreditation and Institutional Effectiveness, and a Professor of Educational Studies at Hobart and William Smith Colleges. Rosita plans to attend and participate in the Conference as an exhibitor and will sign books for attendees.
