Rosita will be attending the Association of African American Museums (AAAM) Annual Conference in Charleston, SC, July 23–25, 2025. The theme this year is Voices of Democracy: Commemorating the Voting Rights Act’s 60th Anniversary. Rosita is so happy to have been selected by the National Museum of African American History & Culture (NMAAHC) to receive the 2025 Culture & Legacy Scholarship to attend this year! Rosita, a long-standing board member of the Pauli Murray Center of History and Social Justice (PMC) will be engaging with and retaining powerful takeaways from the Conference to bring home to the Center.
